A liar, a cheat, arrogant and manipulative boss
The Story:
A woman has a boss, whom she despises.
“What do you see in the mirror? I asked.
"I see a person who is…" and she describes him as following:
A liar, a cheat, arrogant and manipulative.
A person with neither moral standards nor a conscience.
Who does not have any borders at all when it comes to achieving his ambitions.
The Question:
How could it be that I attract such a person into my life?
A person who is nothing at all like me. How can he be my reflection?
I see myself as a 'good' person with high moral standards like integrity, honesty, loyalty etc.
The Analysis:
We are trying to find the common denominator of the points she used for describing her mirror reflection. We are looking at the 'story' now as a 'watcher' and not a participant.
Those characters of her boss draw a type of a person that is willing to do anything to achieve his personal goals. Why? Is his heart made of stone? Probably not.
It seems that he feels that life is a battle and at war like at war, every thing is allowed.
In his mental world, every thing he does, he does for his survival. 'Dog eat Dog', 'You are either preditor or a prey'. In such a jungle world, there is no place for conscience.
When you switch the mirror upon yourself you have to ask yourself if you believe that life is an ongoing struggle for survival.
I know you are probably skeptical, Right? True, you are not a liar, you do have moral values, but still, you live in a battlefield, and you attract enemies into your life, deceivers, betrayals, etc. As long as you keep holding those beliefs, you will attract to your life similar characters, probably in different shapes and different details.
OK, I know what you're thinking: This man behaves the same with everybody, employees, customers and even family, and it has nothing to do with me…
Let me show you exactly how this works: The Law of Attraction does not make mistakes, like the Law of Gravity. Every time you throw a stone into the air it will eventually fall down, you are the one who creates your life, always!
Since 'Like attracts Like' it is clear to me that you live in a survival surroundings if you have a survival attitude throughout life. You unconsciously were drawn to this organization. True it was there before you and after you, but why you choose to be there?
It turns out that it is really a good thing that your boss is so extreme in his 'Bad' behaviour to shock you enough to awaken your awareness to your survival attitude.
Conclusion & Action:
You can quit this job, but then you probably find other work with the same atmosphere or same culture.
Survival attitude through life comes from fear. Originally, it is a fear of death that takes different shapes and forms of fears: like fear of failure, fear of loss, fear of pain etc.
Fears are not logical. You cannot prevent them from emerging. What you can do is to get to know them, which will automatically reduce them.
Although you are a positive person with clear distinguish between good and bad, you are always in stress, you believe that there are 'bad' people out there, which you need to watch your back from.
You need to be aware of your thoughts, to change negative thinking to positive thinking and to change your beliefs that the world is a jungle and regardless what happens to you, every thing will be okay.
Your world is a safe place since you created it as such.
In short, 'Don't worry, be happy' and you'll attract harmony and 'good' people into your life.
